How to find a domain that will send instant traffic

Tonight, I was searching around for some domains that I can use for affiliate offers and man did I find some excellent domains. Here is how I search for domains and figure out if they are profitable.
First, I got to Google Insights for Search. Type in anything you want to promote, for my example I will use a digital camera brand, Coach Purse. Now take a look at this, pay attention to the Rising Searches section in the lower right.
Now, I start checking what domains are available using PCNames.com. This is an accurate AJAX powered domain search tool and it works well. So start searching…. When I wrote this, patchworkcoachpurse.com was available. Now we need to make sure there is enough traffic there to make it worth it.
For the last step, I use Googles External Keyword Tool to check search volume. Its showing 8,100 monthly searches for patchwork coach purse, not bad. Now you hurry your butt up and go buy it while its still available!
So there you have it… It’s not rocket science but its effective. Find a brand that’s coming out or has come out with a new product and often times you will see the word “Breakout” next to it, those are usually really good domains to get and can drive some serious traffic. Enjoy!
