San Diego Mortgage Companies, why go after the big fish?
Posted by Marko | Filed under Uncategorized
With the millions of niche markets out there why would anyone want to compete with companies like Lending Tree, Wells Fargo or any major bank out there? I’ll tell you why, because if you can do it better and offer your visitor something the other sites don’t you are bound to hook visitors and keep them coming back. A great example of a new site coming up after these huge mortgage companies is Easy One Mortgages based in San Diego, CA. Notice the features on the site, from home value search to nifty little javascript drop downs and loan calculators, this site has everything in one easy to use place. Below is a list of things to consider when going after a big niche market like san diego mortgage or san diego refinance:
- First thing first, have well written well organized content. Professional SEO writers can be pricey but think of it as an investment because thats what it is.
- Offer it all. Include all the features you find on your competitors sites. Take time finding out what people want and go after those areas. When I was researching a mortgage loan I was looking for a calculator and to no surprise all the big companies had one.
- Build strong, well targeted PPC campaigns. In big, flooded markets like san diego mortgage its vital to have money to make money. with keywords in upwords of $14 a click you better be ready to spend some money to get your name out there and get the traffic going.
These are only a few things to consider and keep in mind when going after the big dogs but no matter what make sure your site offers something unique just like Easy One Mortgages.
Need a web 2.0 company name?

Camron and I were brainstorming some ideas for a company name and we stumbled on this nifty little Web 2.0 company name generator. In my search for a name it came up with some pretty funny and interesting names but after about 5 minutes on the site I actually found one I liked. I checked in dictionary.com to see if the word meant anything and to my surprise there was a word very close to it, the one I had was a misspelling but thats exactly what I was looking for. You’re welcome!
